Flag of the Persian Immortal Guard by ThanyTony Flag of the Persian Immortal Guard by ThanyTony
The Immortals were prestigious and feared soldiers employed through the history of the Persian Nations, first by the Achaemenid Empire and then by its successor states, among them the Sassanid Empire who has had a series of struggles through its history, first their conflicts with the Eastern Roman Empire (And later Byzantine Empire) until they made a truce and eventually peaces in 843 A.C, the invasions of Arabic tribes that were stopped by the Neuroi in 660 A.C, the invasion of the Seljuk Turks that conquered their territory who then were destroyed by the Mongol Empire invasion in 1227 A.C, they later recovered their former lands thanks to the aid of the Byzantine Empire (And later the Ostoman Empire who chose to keep the Byzantine's Alliance with the Persians active).

The Sassanid Empire suffered a series of defeats and invasions all through the middle age and it wasn't until the year 1480 A.C that they were free from all forces and had many years to rebuild their former glory as well as creating a force that would help them repel invaders. Taking notes from their Ostoman Neighbors and the Mongol Empire, the Sassanid Persians decided to resurrect the Immortal Soldiers, only this time instead of having regular soldiers, it would be formed exclusively by witches, the Emperor gathered an army of 300 witches, no more, no less (as tradition determines that Immortal Armies can only have a set number with various people to replace them if they get injured giving the impression that they are indeed an immortal army) and created the new Persian Immortal Guard in 1789 A.C.

Upon being formed the Immortal Witches proved to be devastating and effective at keeping the borders of the Empire safe as well as assisting their allies in conflicts and provided a great support during the Crimean War.

To this day the Immortal Guard stands as the finest soldiers in the Sassanid Persian Empire carrying on the tradition of their legendary ancestors, currently they have joined forces with the 505 Joint Fighter Wing "The Mirage Witches" in defending the Persian lands from European and Neurois and they plan to march to Ostmark and recover their territory from Neuroi.

In the text it says the Sassanids are interested in marching to the Ostmark Empire, which doesn't make a lot of sense. Why would the Persians be interested in Polish and Balkan territory? Do you mean the Ostoman Empire, which were the Sassanid's enemies in real life?

What I meant is that they're planning marching into Ostmark not to conquer it but to assist in its liberation, remember Ostmark is one the many countries in Europa that are under Neuroi control.

And it'll just be the Immortal Guard assisting the 505, it ties with the story of the 505 a little bit with some input of my own, the 505 were tasked with defending Ostmark, but they failed at it and had to be pushed back to the border of Orussia and Persia, so I would imagine they'd set in Persia rebuilding their strenght and resources working with the Persian Empire until finally being strong enough to go back to Europa and retake it from the Neuroi.

That's what I meant.

The letters are joined together, connected, such as فارسی (Farsi) instead of ف ا ر س ی. In all Arabic based writing systems the letters are conjoined, with the exception of a few (as can be seen in my example) and for spacing. Most writing software will automatically conjoin the letter
